Location: Independence Grove Forest Preserve, 16400 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL 60048

Parking: Parking is available in all the lots around the Visitor Center. Follow the road to the right and park in lots A-F on the map below.

Course Information: Race course will begin and end at the Visitor's Center at Independence Grove. See the race map below. Race time will cut off by 12:00pm.

Race Results: Results will be posted on after the race is over.

Packet Pickup: Early Packet Pickup locations will be determined as it gets closer to May. Participants are able to pick up items for friends and team members; items can also be picked up the day of the race from 7:30am until the start of the race. Packet pick up locations are listed here.

Awards: 1st-3rd place awards given to the overall male and female winners as well as overall fundraising awards. 1st-3rd awards are also given in the following age groups: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+; and stroller runners. 1st-3rd place awards for male and female are based on Gun Time. Age group awards are based on Chip Time.

Dogs: No, according to Lake County Forest Preserve policy

Strollers: Yes, strollers will start after the runners. We do not allow pets, bicycles, in-line skates, roller skates, scooters, and other wheeled vehicles except wheelchairs and hand cranks to participate in the run. You are welcome to bring your pets to watch.

Attire: Please wear comfortable running or walking shoes and work out clothing. The race will be held rain or shine so please be aware of the weather and dress appropriately.
